I am the Philipp and fisherman since I could hold a fishing rod. That’s more than 30 years of fishing experience.
In the beginning, I fished for everything that has fins and for about 25 years, my attention is almost exclusively the predators pike, pike-perch and perch.
My big love is zander fishing on Forggensee, which I mostly pitch with rubber or vertical from the fishing Boat or belly boat.
On weekends I like to spend the night at deadbait fishing and start fishing the with the fishing boat again shortly before sunrise.

At the moment, pelagic vertical fishing (Pelagic Sharpshooting) is what fascinates me the most.
It really is totally exciting and a blatant adrenaline kick when the fish is on the bait and then the longed-for “TOCK” goes through the knuckle! ?
So to say “The Thrill before the Drill!”.

That’s why I now also equipped with the Garmin Panoptix Live Scope.
It’s just unbelievable what’s going on down there on the bait and what you can learn from the pictures. You did not have a clue about it!

I am a team member of “Angelworkshops.de” and a part-time assistant with “The Big Fish Theory” as a fishing guide.
I plan predator fishing trips from the shore and from the fishing boat.
Target fish are pike, pike-perch and perch.
Jigging, Lounging, Vertical, Pelagic Vertical, Drop Shot, Carolina rig, Texas rig or Trolling with Side planner.
Upon request, the guests will be given the desired fishing techniques as well as finding target species in practice during a tour.

Having lived 30+ years abroad and working as a sports instructor, teacher and coach I decided to return to the Netherlands.

My passion for outdoors, watersports and the fishing business I set up took me to a beautiful water-province of Friesland. There are so many lakes and canals here that are perfect for fishing.

And to make sure that you go the right spots I recommend a guiding trip.  It will save you valuable fishing time by not cruising around in unknown waters.  Our guide will show you the fishing spots, the tricks, the right lures….  And also, some great spots for a stop-over for food and drinks.

Boating in Friesland is a vacation like no other, add fishing to it and you have heaven on earth!

Our guide will bring you to the spots where the Predators are waiting. He will help you with the materials, fishing techniques and where needed with material. Inform us please on forehand, so we can prepare the rods and lures etc. when needed.  We can provide you with a weekly fishing license. Please bring your own food and drinks.  (A scheduled stop at a small restaurant is always possible) We do not fish while looking at our watches so rest assured, we will do our best to get the fish in the boat!  (Do remember, in the Netherlands we have a catch & release policy!)

Guiderino tips for boat fishing

When clothing, please remember that it is always much colder, windier and wetter on the boat than on land. When driving fast, especially against waves, a lot of water can splash into the boat. Adequate protection (eg poncho, long rain jacket is available at Amazon for a few euros) and a towel can save one’s fishing day. Wearers of glasses should take cleaning options with them. I have not seen a few who wear ski goggles for protection. Once the glasses are dirty with brackish water, it quickly diminishes the fishing fun. Very important here is the footwear, the shoes always get the most water. Once the feet are wet, the cold can run through the whole body. Wellington boots are immobile but a good base.

If you are well dressed, there is nothing better than catching your fish from the boat. Have fun and punish linen.
