I am the Philipp and fisherman since I could hold a fishing rod. That’s more than 30 years of fishing experience.
In the beginning, I fished for everything that has fins and for about 25 years, my attention is almost exclusively the predators pike, pike-perch and perch.
My big love is zander fishing on Forggensee, which I mostly pitch with rubber or vertical from the fishing Boat or belly boat.
On weekends I like to spend the night at deadbait fishing and start fishing the with the fishing boat again shortly before sunrise.

At the moment, pelagic vertical fishing (Pelagic Sharpshooting) is what fascinates me the most.
It really is totally exciting and a blatant adrenaline kick when the fish is on the bait and then the longed-for “TOCK” goes through the knuckle! ?
So to say “The Thrill before the Drill!”.

That’s why I now also equipped with the Garmin Panoptix Live Scope.
It’s just unbelievable what’s going on down there on the bait and what you can learn from the pictures. You did not have a clue about it!

I am a team member of “Angelworkshops.de” and a part-time assistant with “The Big Fish Theory” as a fishing guide.
I plan predator fishing trips from the shore and from the fishing boat.
Target fish are pike, pike-perch and perch.
Jigging, Lounging, Vertical, Pelagic Vertical, Drop Shot, Carolina rig, Texas rig or Trolling with Side planner.
Upon request, the guests will be given the desired fishing techniques as well as finding target species in practice during a tour.

My name is Daniel I’m 37 years old and I’m from Blomberg / Lippe. My passion is perch fishing on the Edersee.
I came to fishing by my uncle at the age of 6 years. Here I went spin fishing in a small river.
Since time immemorial, I have remained faithful to spin fishing and fished until 17 years ago exclusively on rivers and dredging lakes, until I finally took my first steps on the Edertalsperre and thus learned of the fundamental potential of a dam.

Fishing at dams.

In the end, I’ve been infected by predator fishing on dams since then. Since not only the Edertalsperre, but also the Möhnesee, Hennesee and Diemeltalsperre are in the same distance from my place of residence, of course I made these in the past 17 years uncertain and gathered plenty of experience.
In addition, I was so well the respective conditions such. Observe water levels, weather, closed seasons and many other fishing conditions and quickly select the most promising dam and beangeln. That is one of the advantages that I can offer you, if you do not want special water. Fishing at the Edersee.

The Edersee is one of the top predator waters in Germany. He is not only home to capital predators, who are allowed to grow to remarkable sizes here. You also fish in an impressive landscape surrounded by the “Kellerwald”. Due to the constant changing water levels, the Edersee is a real challenge for every fisherman. Having lived 30+ years abroad and working as a sports instructor, teacher and coach I decided to return to the Netherlands.

My passion for outdoors, watersports and the fishing business I set up took me to a beautiful water-province of Friesland. There are so many lakes and canals here that are perfect for fishing.

And to make sure that you go the right spots I recommend a guiding trip.  It will save you valuable fishing time by not cruising around in unknown waters.  Our guide will show you the fishing spots, the tricks, the right lures….  And also, some great spots for a stop-over for food and drinks.

Boating in Friesland is a vacation like no other, add fishing to it and you have heaven on earth!

Please bring your own food and drinks.  (A scheduled stop at a small restaurant is always possible) We do not fish while looking at our watches so rest assured, we will do our best to get the fish in the boat!  (Do remember, in the Netherlands we have a catch & release policy!)

Guiderino tips for boat fishing

When clothing, please remember that it is always much colder, windier and wetter on the boat than on land. When driving fast, especially against waves, a lot of water can splash into the boat. Adequate protection (eg poncho, long rain jacket is available at Amazon for a few euros) and a towel can save one’s fishing day. Wearers of glasses should take cleaning options with them. I have not seen a few who wear ski goggles for protection. Once the glasses are dirty with brackish water, it quickly diminishes the fishing fun. Very important here is the footwear, the shoes always get the most water. Once the feet are wet, the cold can run through the whole body. Wellington boots are immobile but a good base.

If you are well dressed, there is nothing better than catching your fish from the boat. Have fun and punish linen.

Michael Stalenhoef was born in 1964 in Badhoevedorp in North Holland and grew up in Amsterdam. Today, Michael lives in a unique place, living on a houseboat in Zaandam, on the banks of the Zaan River. He works as a professional and licensed fishing guide in the pike-perch Paradise of Amsterdam. His passion is pike-perch fishing in Netherlands.

Michael’s grandmother had the ability to tell exciting and compelling fishing stories from his grandfather. Then he made his first attempts with his own hands: At the age of only six he caught his first fish in the canals of Amsterdam. After that, there was no stopping Michael and he came in contact with the serious sport fishing early.

The fishing guide.

Today, many years later, a high-tech fishing boat, an Alumacraft Competitor 165 Tiller, parks in front of his houseboat. So, as a fishing guide, he can quickly be ready to go out fishing anytime, anywhere.

Literally close to Michael’s residence are beautiful fishing grounds. Unique fishing guide trips then take place on the IJ, the North Sea Canal, the Alkmaardermeer and of course on the Zaan, the land of windmills.

Michael has participated in more than 50 predator fishing competitions and championships and has taken several first places in the NKS (Dutch Championship in pike-perch fishing).

His great expertise and the time he spends on the water make Michael a real exceptional angler, as well as a specialist author for various national and international predator fishing magazines, such as De Roofvis, Predator, Beet, Fish & Catch, Blinker, Roofmaster, Het Visblad and Total Fishing regularly participates.

Also in front of the film camera embodies “Amigo” as Michael is called by his friends, a good figure, for example, he has produced reports with the following television stations: RTL 7, the NDR and the Russian Avalon TV.

Michael is a member of Quantum Team Netherlands together with his colleague Tjeerd van der Ploeg. The predator angler is looking forward to future goals that are significant and important to him.
