For the saltwater fly fisherman Los Roques offers a lot of variety. Main fish is the bonefish in sizes of 3-5 pounds on average and good chances to fish over 10 pounds, depending on the season and tides are added to fish species such as Tarpon and (huge) Permit. By-catches are Jacks, Barracudas, Snapper, Snook, Bonitos etc. The flats fishing on Los Roques takes place mainly wading. Bonefish, and this is one of the factors that makes Los Roques so special, can be caught in a variety of ways. On the one hand, there are the so-called pancake flats – small flats made of turtlegrass, where you often fish for tailed fish. Not always easy, but exciting. Los Roques is a saltwater destination that can be visited all year round; High season is from January to May. Due to its location close to the equator you do not need hurricanes, which is another advantage.

Punta Allen Fishing Club is located about 50m from the beach. It has 5 rooms for guests and a large lounge where there is a bar and where guests have their meals. The managers themselves are avid saltwater fly fishermen, the lodge serves multicultural cuisine (including Mexican specialties). From November to March the lodge can accommodate 8 guests (3 double and 2 single), from April to July for 10 guests (3DZ, 2EZ and a suite with space for 2 fishermen or one family).When your passion is also fly fishing for snook in Mexico, go ahead.

“Mi casa es tu casa” is lived here par excellence and leads to a cozy atmosphere with a high feel-good factor.

The season is year-round (except August-October). Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon as well as Snook, Jacks, Barracudas, Ladyfish and Snapper are catching throughout the season.

Two fishermen share a guide and a boat (panga); The Pangas are about 6m long, but despite their size very well suited for fishing from the boat. In front there is a big throwing platform for the angler, the guide pushes the boat raised from the stern. It is not only fishing from the boat, but also wading. All boats have sufficient engines, coolers, rod holders, etc. on board.
A normal fish day starts at 8 am and ends at 4 pm. Lunch is served during a break on the flats / mangroves, packed lunches are available from the lodge. The first flats are accessible from the lodge in about 10 minutes by boat.

My name is Erik Müller and passionate angler since the age of three. I mainly fished the Elbe, Oste and smaller lakes until I moved to Flensburg in 2012 to study. There developed quickly a great love for saltwater fishing and prefers sea trout. This has become my passion, sea trout fishing on the Baltic Sea coast. A fish that is not easy to catch and that requires a lot of experience. After successfully catching all species of fish in the surrounding Baltic Sea with the spinning rod, the topic of fly fishing started for me … Since then I have been fishing for fly fishing, but I also know the spinning rod very well and can successfully fish for many species with both methods. Since I’ve always loved bringing fish to other people, a few years ago I opened my fishing guide company. In addition, I offer fly-throwing courses.

I can offer my offers in good conscience, because I am very familiar with the areas and have a lot of experience in the waters. The sea trout is in the first place, but I am quite flexible and on request also on some great forest and meadow streams in southern Denmark, not far from Flensburg, guiden. With dry flies and nymphs, the brown trout and the grayling would be the focus. Even a pike fishing guide is nothing in the way, whether by boat, or a kayak. Meanwhile, Wolfi lives on one of the most successful and productive beaches of the German Baltic coast, the “Weissenhäuser” beach. To live in “casting distance” to the beautiful Baltic Sea coast can become an addiction. Every day is different and always a unique experience of nature. Fishing guide Christof Menz came into contact with fishing for the first time at the age of 7, after which it soon became his great passion.

Seven years later he made his first steps in the fly fishing adventure. Although many of the adult fishing colleagues advised him against it.

At first he invested every free minute in fly fishing. It was not long before he went to the water with his first self-bound flies. He learned the throwing technique autodidactically.

No body of water in Austria has been safe from him since then.

After studying sports science, Christof cooperates with dealer for fly fishing needs. In the following he worked as a course instructor and fishing guide.

Through his studies in sports, it was easy for him to teach and train beginners in the art of fly fishing right from the start.

At the moment he works full-time as a fishing guide. As a result, he is very much on the water, both in Austria and abroad.

He is an Instructor of the Mörrum Fishing Academy, a member of the Castabroad Pro Team and also works for Patagonia as a Sales Representative.

He runs the website “Pro-Guides Fly Fishing” with his partner, the fly fishing guide Uwe Rieder.

Fishing guide Uwe Rieder came fishing in his early childhood through his father. The trained fish farmer fishing in 1985 without exception with the fly rod. A few years ago, he turned his hobby into a profession. Since then he has been a full-time fishing guide in Austria.

He has passed the basic and master instructor exams at EFFA-Europe. He is also a member of the EFFA Advisory Board and the EFFA Board Govemor. Uwe has shown throwing demonstrations at many fairs throughout Europe. As a result, he has achieved a high profile in the scene.

Uwe Rieder is the instructor of the Mörrum Fishing Academy and also a member of the Vision World Team.

Meanwhile, has fished many international destinations in fresh and salt water. Finally, he brings years of experience as a course leader of fly fishing courses with him.

Micke Nyberg is a fishing guide, founder of the “Anglerman Fishing Adventures” and also a Fly fisherman. One of his Passions is Ice fishing in Sweden.

With Micke as a fishing guide you can fish in the high mountains in wild rivers for big salmon. But you can also take it a little easier, namely in a fantastic landscape while ice fishing. When ice fishing, it is then specifically on the mystical Arctic char. Of course, you can also catch the all time popular grayling in fly fishing.

Paul has always been an avid angler and knows all the disciplines of fishing. He was for many years a member of the former carp study group of the Netherlands and has been chairman of a fly fishing association for years. He is an experienced organizer of fishing trips and has the necessary qualifications and permits. Under his guidance, every fishing trip becomes an unforgettable experience.

Carp fishing at night in Holland.

This day tour becomes a night trip. We drive in the evening to the fishing spot z. B. a canal or lake and provide for each several carp rods. Fishing is done with electric bite indicators so that in the dark the bite of the carp is displayed. At night we lie comfortably in the double tent and can sleep peacefully, because at the bite of carp announces the bite alarm acoustically. So we wake up and hurry to the appropriate tail. The yield of night fishing can then be photographed later in daylight and thus becomes a lasting memory of this nocturnal adventure. The fishing guide chooses the right spot for this excursion and feeds you at least 2 days in advance so that the chance of success grows significantly.

Carp fishing in Holland from the boat.

This time a very different fishing discipline: carp fishing from the boat. We drive early in the morning to the “Nieuwkoopse Plassen”. A boat is already ready for us to fish with the pose on the reed belt and between the water lilies. Here you often meet carp. This beautiful old Dutch moorland has been thrilling for many years. Trout fishing at the Oostvoornse Meer.

The Oostvoornse Sea is now known throughout Europe for its abundance of rainbow trout, brown trout, char and landlocked salmon that has been exposed since last spring. The first three species of fish have now reached the considerable length of 70 to 80 centimeters. They fight enormously at the fly rod. It goes without saying that Arctic salmon will do so over time! Likewise, you can fish with the spinning rod.
At the Oostvoornse Sea you can wade as well as from the “Belly boat”.

Trout fishing in flowing waters in the German Eifel.

This trip goes in principle over three days to the beautiful Eifel low mountain range, close to the Luxembourg border. There are many, small rivers with larger quantities: brown trout; Rainbow trout; Grayling and chub. We book a good hotel near the fishing spot and enjoy the German hospitality and the beautiful landscape. Of course, if you prefer a certain river or area, this can be taken into account.
Otherwise, the fishing guide decides for a good body of water.
From the southwestern part of the Netherlands to the Eifel, it takes about four hours by car. Note that this fishing trip is only available from
March 15 to October 15 can take place because of the fishing protection time!

In De Biesbosch a boat awaits us to go fishing for big zander and pike. We do that with different types of baits. At the Amer Energy Center, where the water is warmer, there are good fishing spots for beautiful zander. The Biesbosch is a large nature reserve with many birds, otters and beavers. With many streams and the beautiful nature reserve, this is a beautiful and unique piece of the Netherlands.
