Luca Nardin is a young fishing guide with specific experience on the Dutch lakes Volkerak, Hollandsdiep and Haringvliet. He has been focusing on the predator fishing since he has been fishing with the grand master of the pike, Bertus Rozemeijer has learned all the tricks and gimmicks. Guiderino tips for boat fishing.

When clothing, please remember that it is always much colder, windier and wetter on the boat than on land. When driving fast, especially against waves, a lot of water can splash into the boat. Adequate protection (eg poncho, long rain jacket is available at Amazon for a few euros) and a towel can save one’s fishing day. Wearers of glasses should take cleaning options with them. I have not seen a few who wear ski goggles for protection. Once the glasses are dirty with brackish water, it quickly diminishes the fishing fun. Very important here is the footwear, the shoes always get the most water. Once the feet are wet, the cold can run through the whole body. Wellington boots are immobile but a good base.

If you are well dressed, there is nothing better than catching your fish from the boat. Have fun and punish linen.

What can I expect from fishing there?

Smalandreisen has specialized in two areas in Southern Sweden (Smaland), the objects are located around the lake Rusken and Vrigstadsan in Smalands Höglandet and in the archipelago of Oskarshamn. In this region you have a variety of opportunities to fish, on predatory fish (pike, perch, pike-perch) as well as on Fried fish. In the area there are also excellent opportunities for fly fishing.
