My name is Daniel I’m 37 years old and I’m from Blomberg / Lippe. My passion is perch fishing on the Edersee.
I came to fishing by my uncle at the age of 6 years. Here I went spin fishing in a small river.
Since time immemorial, I have remained faithful to spin fishing and fished until 17 years ago exclusively on rivers and dredging lakes, until I finally took my first steps on the Edertalsperre and thus learned of the fundamental potential of a dam.

Fishing at dams.

In the end, I’ve been infected by predator fishing on dams since then. Since not only the Edertalsperre, but also the Möhnesee, Hennesee and Diemeltalsperre are in the same distance from my place of residence, of course I made these in the past 17 years uncertain and gathered plenty of experience.
In addition, I was so well the respective conditions such. Observe water levels, weather, closed seasons and many other fishing conditions and quickly select the most promising dam and beangeln. Hello, my name is Frank Pfliegner. Since I am 6 years old I am an avid angler. I do not only focus on catching fish, but also experiencing nature. If you want to follow your passion, now go Predator fishing in Netherlands with me.

For me, fishing is more than just catching fish. I am a captain and fishing guide certified by the IGFA – International Game Fishing Association. The respectful handling of our predators is very important to me and therefore Catch & Release is basically practiced on my boat. I am happy to help you learn the different fishing techniques. The necessary different fishing tackle and bait can be borrowed and used by me depending on your needs. Tour planning always takes place in close coordination with the wishes and schedules of my guests. Fishing techniques are: Vertical, Drop Shot, Carolina Rig, Jigging, Spin fishing, Pelagic, Deadbait, Fireball, etc.

In order to be successful, I always try to use the most suitable technique on the respective fishing day. Fishing from the boat takes place in the then most productive waters in Holland. Tours in German waters such as the Rhine, Duisburg Harbor or Rhine-Herne Canal only take place from the shore, as fishing from the boat is not allowed there.

When clothing, please remember that it is always much colder, windier and wetter on the boat than on land. When driving fast, especially against waves, a lot of water can splash into the boat. Adequate protection (eg poncho, long rain jacket is available at Amazon for a few euros) and a towel can save one’s fishing day. Wearers of glasses should take cleaning options with them. I have not seen a few who wear ski goggles for protection. Once the glasses are dirty with brackish water, it quickly diminishes the fishing fun. Very important here is the footwear, the shoes always get the most water. Once the feet are wet, the cold can run through the whole body. Wellington boots are immobile but a good base.

If you are well dressed, there is nothing better than catching your fish from the boat. Have fun and punish linen.

Having lived 30+ years abroad and working as a sports instructor, teacher and coach I decided to return to the Netherlands.

My passion for outdoors, watersports and the fishing business I set up took me to a beautiful water-province of Friesland. There are so many lakes and canals here that are perfect for fishing.

And to make sure that you go the right spots I recommend a guiding trip.  It will save you valuable fishing time by not cruising around in unknown waters.  Our guide will show you the fishing spots, the tricks, the right lures….  And also, some great spots for a stop-over for food and drinks.

Paul has always been an avid angler and knows all the disciplines of fishing. He was for many years a member of the former carp study group of the Netherlands and has been chairman of a fly fishing association for years. He is an experienced organizer of fishing trips and has the necessary qualifications and permits. Under his guidance, every fishing trip becomes an unforgettable experience.

Carp fishing at night in Holland.

This day tour becomes a night trip. We drive in the evening to the fishing spot z. B. a canal or lake and provide for each several carp rods. Fishing is done with electric bite indicators so that in the dark the bite of the carp is displayed. At night we lie comfortably in the double tent and can sleep peacefully, because at the bite of carp announces the bite alarm acoustically. So we wake up and hurry to the appropriate tail. The yield of night fishing can then be photographed later in daylight and thus becomes a lasting memory of this nocturnal adventure. The fishing guide chooses the right spot for this excursion and feeds you at least 2 days in advance so that the chance of success grows significantly.

Carp fishing in Holland from the boat.

This time a very different fishing discipline: carp fishing from the boat. We drive early in the morning to the “Nieuwkoopse Plassen”. A boat is already ready for us to fish with the pose on the reed belt and between the water lilies. Here you often meet carp. This beautiful old Dutch moorland has been thrilling for many years. Trout fishing at the Oostvoornse Meer.

The Oostvoornse Sea is now known throughout Europe for its abundance of rainbow trout, brown trout, char and landlocked salmon that has been exposed since last spring. The first three species of fish have now reached the considerable length of 70 to 80 centimeters. They fight enormously at the fly rod. It goes without saying that Arctic salmon will do so over time! Likewise, you can fish with the spinning rod.
At the Oostvoornse Sea you can wade as well as from the “Belly boat”.

Trout fishing in flowing waters in the German Eifel.

This trip goes in principle over three days to the beautiful Eifel low mountain range, close to the Luxembourg border. There are many, small rivers with larger quantities: brown trout; Rainbow trout; Grayling and chub. We book a good hotel near the fishing spot and enjoy the German hospitality and the beautiful landscape. Of course, if you prefer a certain river or area, this can be taken into account.
Otherwise, the fishing guide decides for a good body of water.
From the southwestern part of the Netherlands to the Eifel, it takes about four hours by car. Note that this fishing trip is only available from
March 15 to October 15 can take place because of the fishing protection time!

In De Biesbosch a boat awaits us to go fishing for big zander and pike. We do that with different types of baits. At the Amer Energy Center, where the water is warmer, there are good fishing spots for beautiful zander. The Biesbosch is a large nature reserve with many birds, otters and beavers. With many streams and the beautiful nature reserve, this is a beautiful and unique piece of the Netherlands.
